Stamp With Fun

Hopefully I've just entered the http://stampwithfun.blogspot.com/ challenge in time. We've had a manic day at the Sealife Centre in Birmingham today and I'm worn out.
Another Sugar Nellie stamp for this challenge, I really like these girls, they're so pretty.

My stitching looks a bit wonky on the card but its the photo, its not like that IRL, promise!

The Sugar Bowl

Hi everyone, here's my entry for the http://www.sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/. I decided to have a go with some stitching, so my mum lent me her old Bernina Machine which is about 100 years old, I think its past its sell by date as the stitches havn't come out very well, something else to add to my never ending shopping list!
We don't have many craft shops in Derby/Notts so I have to rely on on-line shopping which is a pain as I think its much nicer when you see things IRL, anyway on Saturday I went into my local Reams which is more of an art shop and nearly passed out with excitement as they have started selling copics, I was in copic heaven.
Recipe

Paper - My Minds Eye
Copics
Prima Flowers
Spacers & Pearl brads - The Hobby House

Happy Sunday everyone. Here's my http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/ entry this week. I used my Tim Holtz distressing tool but i'm not sure I like how its turned out, I've decided what I really need is a sewing machine so I might have a trip out later and have a look at some.
Recipe
DCWV Latte
Robins nest dew drops
SU scallop punch
Woodware sentiment stamp
Prima flowers
Roses from Dunelm
Martha Stewart branch punch
Copics
I'm so glad I discovered the challenges, it helps to take my mind off my worries, although it's not helping my bank balance!

Sugar Bowl Challenge

Finally I got time to make a card yesterday following Marlene's sketch for the sugar bowl challengehttp://www.sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/. I really need someone to teach me how to do hyperlinks etc, can't seem to get the hang of it! I had to have a good dig around to find some buttons, these are some doodlebug ones which i'd forgotten I had.

Recipe

Sugar Nellie Stamp
Basic Grey (can't remember which)
SU punches - thanks Marlene for getting these for me.
SU sentiment stamp.
Copics (If anyone knows of a copic colour similar to promarker satin and sandstone, please let me know)
Promarkers for the mushrooms.
Prima flowers.
Doodlebug buttons.

I really want to enter Just Magnolia this week but I really can't see how I can take part without buying a sewing machine and that seems a little bit drastic, then again i've always wanted a sewing machine, so I'm going to have to give this one a lot of thought!

Stamp with Fun

This girlie is my favourite of the Gorjuss girls, she's so pretty. This is my entry for Stamp with fun http://stampwithfun.blogspot.com/

Coloured with copic sketch markers, making memories paper, bazzill dots, nestabilites (which I can't live without) and a Magnolia sentiment stamp. I enjoyed making a card this size for a change (10.5x20cm).

I don't think I'll mange to squeeze in any more crafting for this bank holiday weekend, back to work tomorrow.

Just Magnolia

Can't believe 2 weeks have whizzed by and I missed week 2 of the Just Magnolia challenge http://http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/, too much to do and too little time! Anyway here's my entry for week 3. Really enjoyed Bev's sketch, thanks Bev.
Love this magnolia stamp as it gave me the chance to use some flowersoft which I bought from the NEC in March.
I also used various copics, martha stewart branch punch, butterfly punch and doily punch, nesties and other bits and pieces from stash.
Have a good bank holiday weekend everyone x
